Twenty-five years of experience teaching actors and my own performing has taught me that talent is not enough. Will perseverance, belief, risk – the elements that have to be considered and faced and dealt with in order to do the work and gather the career you are longing for. Everyone knows that, but they don’t do it. Why don’t you? Fear of exposure? Fear of failure? Fear of embarrassment? Fear of revealing pieces of yourself that you don’t want anyone to see? And that is of course what makes a performance amazing. Take the risk to become everything you see for your heart’s desire. Create the change no matter what it takes.
