Grown ups can dream too! Dreaming is the first step to creating anything.
Goethe wrote: “Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!” This is how to manifest your dreams. Begin taking actions knowing that your dreams will come to pass.
It is incredible how words originally written in the 18th century are still relevant – perhaps more relevant today than in anytime in human history. We are living in a time where anything is possible.
Rick Ulfik and His Dreams
My friend Rick Ulfik dreamt of a world that is collaborative, peaceful and conscious. He saw many organisations striving to ‘do good’. However, many were operating in an isolated manner, not connecting with others doing similar work. And as a result, not having the impact they could have.
Today Rick is the founder and CEO of We the World, an organisation that for the past 20 years has been bringing organisations and thought leaders together to amplify their collective voices. Remarkable and inspired, they operate in 125 cities around the globe and work closely with the UN on peace and sustainability issues.
Rick knows how to manifest a dream – he is doing it every day with his platform that unites people and accelerates their work for good on this planet. Two very strong tools that Rick uses to bring his dream into the collective conscious of others, is: 1.) his Global Declaration of Interdependence – a formal statement of belief that thousands of people around the world have signed and 2.) the annual 11 Days of Global Unity – 10 days of peace related events happening all over the world.
